Hungarian angoras are coming home!

Posted by Stella Boyer on March 16, 2012 at 8:40 AM Comments comments (0)

Thru the kindness, preparation and hard work of friends, Vicky, Larie, Erzsi and others, two beautiful Hungarian babies are joining our family.

German buns, they will be bigger than any of the bunners living with us now.

Tali is a lovely fawn angora, Erzsi is black and studying to become a rug given her mellow disposition.

Pepper, a steel French doe and Hershey, a chocolate satin buck, made their own illicit breeding arrangements and produced a beautiful baby.  Gender is unknown, but the baby has temporarily been named Tiny, even though he weighed 3.9 oz on day 1!  Tiny will not be showable as a hybrid, but should be a beautiful wooler if he inherits dad's density and mom's coloring.   Pictures coming soon.

An English angora litter is expected mid-November!
